Feeding your baby is made easier with qualified support. Our Board Certified Nurse Practitioner Lactation Consultant has years of experience offering lactation and infant feeding services to empower you during your pregnancy and childbirth experience. As both a certified and licensed Nurse Practitioner and IBCLC our provider is able to assess, diagnose, and treat issues, order and draw labs, and prescribe medications when needed.
Lactation Appointment Pricing
We are currently in-network with most major insurance plans including medicaid and bill insurance for all visits and care. Beginning July 1st, 2025 we will no longer be in network with insurance and all visits will be self-pay at the pricing listed below.
Initial 60 minute in-clinic visit where we take a full history, assess issues, observe nursing, explore root causes, and put together a comprehensive plan of care - $195
Follow-up 60 minute visits in clinic or telehealth where for assessing outcomes, observing weighted feedings, addressing new concerns and customizing our plan - $150
Follow-up 30 minute visits in clinic or telehealth for quick check-ins on supply, infant weight gain, or other aspects of the treatment plan to ensure continued success toward meeting your goals - $100
Visit payment options include health shares, FSA/HSA’s, and cash-pay. If you wish to utilize your insurance, we will provide a super bill of our services for you to submit.

I Should schedule a consultation if:
Current guidelines indicate that all infants should be seen for a thorough feeding assessment between 3-5 days postpartum.
Situations that may require additional assessments include:
Parents feel uneasy about feeding and need reassurance
Infant refuses to latch
Parents have concerns about milk supply - too little or too much milk
Concern about lip and tongue tie
Feeding is painful
Infant is experiencing low or slow weight gain
Parents have been told to they may need to feed formula
Parents have received conflicting advice on feeding their infant
What can I expect?
You will meet with an experienced and compassionate International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) either in your home or in our office.
Your IBCLC will take a thorough history, assist with feeding and perform pre-and post-feed weight checks to measure the volume of milk your infant transfers.
You will be provided with accurate, evidence based information to form a customized plan for you and your baby.
Your parenting and feeding decisions will be supported unconditionally.
Your IBCLC will provide ongoing support and encouragement after your consultation via email, phone calls, or follow up visits.
A report of your consultation can be sent to your physician and/or midwife.
